Equine Adoptions

The Human Animal Life Foundation (HALF) adopts horses through our Saving Equine program to suitable and approved homes. Our adoptions are intended to be for the life of the horse and not until such time is no longer suitable to the purpose for which it was originally adopted. We adopt to forever homes.

HALF horses cannot be resold, re-homed or bred and should the need arise and you are no longer able to care for these animals they must be returned to HALF where adoption fees will not be refunded and other restrictions apply. If you are no longer able to keep your HALF horse for any reason and must return it, send us a written notice via email to support@humananimallife.org with a 30 days notice as possible.

Each potential adopter is required to fill out an Adoption Application which must be approved before any horse will be adopted. Adopters must be at least 21 years of age with no history of animal abuse or neglect. Horses are shown to prospective adopters by appointment only. Please do not show up at any of our facilities without an appointment and/or unannounced. If you would like to see one of our horses, please email us to schedule an appointment.
